The art in this is absolutely beautiful, and charming as all hell. The story was intensely adorable, and it actually did a good job at progressing it throughout instead of shoving the development at the beginning and end. I didn't like the way making an attack locks you into a move. It made it feel clunky. It was a lot like Dark Souls, and not in a good way. It's a shame, because the enemy variety in this game is great! I love how they all have unique ways of attacking, and the sound when you hit those little orb drones is so satisfying, like batting a balloon.
Thanks so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the art and story, both areas I'm trying to push myself!
I appreciate the feedback on the combat. I was shooting for a classic beat-em-up feel, but I agree that it could use some tweaking. I've got some small updates in mind for this game (controller support for instance) so maybe I'll give that another pass too!
Thanks so much for playing! Credit to Facemelting Solos for yet another great OST and awesome sound design!
The feedback is appreciated! I'll have to revisit the difficulty... on my last game, I felt like I leaned too hard, maybe I over-corrected this time. Though I did have a friend declare the difficult as "perfect" so maybe I'll keep this and add a hard-mode option. I'll plan to address the robot glitch in an update. Breakable items were something I really wanted to include, but I was crunched as it was on the Jam deadline, so I cut them for now... but perhaps I'll add that after the jam rating period is over!
Thanks again for playing and taking the time to share your feedback :)
This game pretty good, short, and quite charming art, Takes me quite a while to figured out how to beat the final boss though, probably because I accidentally skip dialogue
The first phase of the boss is a "puzzle" to figure out, but yes, the dialogue before the second phase is important. Glad you were still able to beat it.

Is that a lesbian story?
It is!
10/10, it's gay as hell and I love it.
Thanks so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Holy shit Sibley, this is a game!

Fantastic game!
Gameplay is really straightforward and everything has a great feedback.
Pixel art is so cute and consistent. Also the environments are quite diverse!
Cutscenes are smooth and really add to the game.
Music fits perfectly and is pretty chill.
Boss fights are right on! It's probably my favourite parts of the game.
All in all, I had a surprisingly great time with it and had me relax.
Thanks!
PS : I forgot to mention the story which is a nice interpretation of the idea of entangled particles.
Thank for playing, and thank you for the kind words! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
Really nice game with nice art! Fun to play! It is featured in my Top 5 of this week!
Check my video!
Thanks so much for playing and featuring it in your video! :)
Super cool game ... great job on the sounds/music
The last boss reminded me a little of attack on titan covering its weak spot with its hand =] !
Some feedback:
- The difficulty might have been too easy compared to your previous MGGJ jam, I did not die even 1 time , last time I remember dying lots.
- the little sentry robots get stuck turning left and right sometimes
- defense shield breaking or draining energy might increase difficulty
- breakable trash cans could be cool = ] & other props
