June Mejos became a Magical Girl soon after moving to Basin Lake City. But after a traumatic incident, she’s plagued by nightmares and doubt. As her conviction to continue fighting the darkness wavers, her nightmares become more vivid and terrifying. Is there any way to break this cycle of despair?

A Dream of Dusk is a point and click Magical Girl story. Explore June’s nightmares, speak with questionable denizens of the ruined city, and collect items to help her progress. But don’t worry about it too much, because no matter how dire things may seem, it’s only a dream. Right?

Created for MGGJ9! Chapter 1 demo, with more chapters planned. Stay tuned!

Oooh, this was such a cool start, loving the gameplay! I'm excited to see how the rest of story will play out! I am curious, though. Would there be like other modes in the games since there's a "Sleep Mode"?

Thanks so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the demo.

The "Sleep Mode" is actually June setting her phone back to silent, and attempting to fall back asleep. Most of the active game play with take place within her dream, while her time awake will be reflecting on the dream and events that led up to this night.... Though I haven't decided 100% yet. I have most of the game planned out, and there will be some variety to the gameplay throughout!

I hope you'll check out the full version when it's ready. I can't promise it'll be soon (I have a lot of projects on-going DX ) but I do plan to finish this story.

Oh! I gotcha -- and that's exciting to see some variety in store! And definitely! All your games have been so amazing, so I'll for sure be back when this one gets its full release <33
